Harmony a hit at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo

The Harmony Equine Center team participated in the 2018 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. The annual event for horse enthusiasts features horse clinicians from all over the country. As part of this year’s Expo, we hosted an information booth, participated in the Equine Comeback Challenge and offered clinics on Gaining Confidence in Horse and Rider to attendees. Volunteers passed out materials and shared Harmony’s mission with thousands of Expo attendees at the information booth. Getting out in the community allows us the opportunity to showcase our adoptable horses and talk about our training program.

Two Harmony staff and one contract trainer competed in the Equine Comeback Challenge, where trainers have 90 days to train a horse to compete in trail course, ranch work and cattle classes to show off how far their horses have come in a short period of time. Congratulations to staff trainer Cori Hoody who finished third, contract trainer Ben Grogan who finished fifth and barn attendant Taryn Hillman who finished ninth.
